By using skillsquare.in or purchasing any of our digital products, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy and Digital Delivery Policy.

We only collect information needed to deliver our products and run our store:

• Account information: name, email address, mobile number (optional), password hash.
• Order information: products purchased, amount, coupon used, order status, invoice number.
• Billing information: billing name, email and mobile. We never see or store your full card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank credentials — these are handled directly by Razorpay.
• Communications: messages you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp support.
• Usage data: pages viewed, products clicked, device type, browser, approximate location (city/country derived from IP), referring URL, UTM parameters.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.

• To create your account and deliver the digital products you purchase.
• To process payments, generate invoices, and prevent fraud.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmation, download links, receipts, password resets).
• To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
• To send marketing emails and product updates — only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe anytime.
• To understand which products and pages are useful, fix bugs, and improve the store.
• To comply with Indian tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

We use cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, pixels) to keep you signed in, remember your cart, measure traffic and — with your consent — show relevant ads. The first time you visit, a cookie banner lets you accept, reject or customise cookie categories. You can change your preferences any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Subject to your consent, we use the following third-party tools:

• Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic and behaviour analytics. We enable IP anonymisation.
• Google Ads — measuring ad performance and conversions, and (where allowed) remarketing.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) — measuring conversions and serving relevant ads on Meta platforms.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session recordings and heatmaps to improve UX.

These tools may set their own cookies and process data outside India in accordance with their own privacy policies. We implement Google Consent Mode v2 so that no analytics or advertising signals are sent until you grant consent.

All payments on skillsquare.in are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. When you check out, your card / UPI / netbanking / wallet details are collected directly by Razorpay over an encrypted connection. SkillSquare only receives a payment status (success / failure), a payment ID, and the amount. We never store full card numbers, CVV, OTPs, UPI PINs or bank credentials.

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with:

• Payment processors (Razorpay) to complete your purchase.
• Email and notification providers to send order and support communications.
• Cloud hosting and storage providers that host the site and protected download files.
• Analytics and advertising partners listed above, only with your consent.
• Government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities when legally required.

Account and order records are retained for as long as your account is active and for up to 8 years after, to comply with Indian tax and accounting laws. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form for up to 26 months.

We use HTTPS / TLS encryption on every page, store passwords as salted hashes, restrict database access using row-level security, and limit administrative access to authorised team members. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and never share your login credentials.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or outdated information from your account page.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Withdraw cookie consent at any time from the footer.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any campaign.
• Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

SkillSquare is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows the most recent revision.
